Did you see the State Opening of Parliament on the TV yesterday? The Queen at her finest and in her new carriage – wow what a superb wagon! It took 7 years to build and is a work of art. This is a lovely event which takes place each year and is full of tradition – if you are interested you can probably get clips on Youtube. You can also read more about the event here.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas and get all you wish for on the “Big Day” next week. Hopefully the last minute applications for your loved ones will all be delivered on time by our faithul carriers – Royal Mail (UK) and UPS (overseas). There is still time for UK orders (Monday 22nd December) but overseas orders cannot be promissed delivery by 25/12.

As is usual this time of year the awards’ list has been announced which features 1,164 people who are being recognised for their achievements / doing something jolly good for their community, industry or country. Half are women. Congratulations to them all.
